Rock’n’Synth with style
This review is an exception, it is just standing on the edge, less than 3 stars. What’s the reason for publishing this review. Well, first on this album is an awesome song, and furthermore I love the style and attitude of ‘William Control’.
‘Silentium Amoris’ is already the third full-length album, and I see a big potential in ‘William Control’. The mixture between Synth Pop, Darkwave, Electrorock and Rock’n’Roll elements is gorgeous and unique.
The awesome song I mentioned before is ‘Romance & Devotion’. Oh, I love this song! It’s super catchy, powerful and 100% dance compatible.
Further I would recommend the official music video ‘Kiss Me Judas‘ taken from this album. That is an inspiring song as well, but if I did have to made the choice, the first single would be ‘Romance & Devotion’.
Okay, to be honest this album also has it weaks. The intro and outro are non essential for me. I know it’s an artistic concept thing, but it doesn’t work for me. And then there is this 2 minute interlude ‘True Love Will Find You In The End’; I love the lyric, but the song is just boring.
If you are open-minded and ready for a new upcoming and unique music style, I’m sure you will also find your pearls on ‘Silentium Amoris’. Just don’t expect something usual, else you’ll be disappointed.
