The US band ‘d.notive’ released a very atmospheric synthwave song named ‘Alter’ on January 28th, 2022. The song is taken from the EP ‘Chimera‘. The tempo here is far below 100 bpm, but the drums and bassline make pressure like a club classic to dance to. A really bold sound, then! The synthwave DNA is already deeply rooted in the composition, but I can also hear the vibes of typical 80s New Wave. Admittedly, they are very subtle, but audible for connoisseurs of the genre.
