A promising harbringer
The debut album ‘Darkly Near‘ was already really strong. I rated Noir’s debut with a 3.5 stars in 2013. This album had three 5 star rating songs, but there was also a few of songs that couldn’t convince me.
The harbringer for the upcoming Noir album promises great darkwave music. The opening song The Burning Bridge gives hope for a sensational, second Noir album. Electronic darkwave in its purest form is offered here.
Including dark cover versions
The three cover versions are all very well done, even I must admit to have known only the song The Chauffeur by Duran Duran before. Overall, I find the EP really good, and I am looking forward to what will coming toward me.
